1 PM- 5 PM Tasks
5 PM- 6 PM Signout. Signout to the residents on short call any remaining tasks for stroke/general floor patients as well as any remaining consults. Signout on EPIC should also be updated before signing out to short call team.
5PM – 8PM Short Call. The on-call junior residents should complete urgent consults to limit the work of the overnight resident, but any number of consults that would result in them leaving their shift later than 9 PM should be signed out to the overnight resident.
